Great Lakes Arts Network

 

The Great Lakes Arts Network (GLAN) is a committee of Great Lakes Council with the purpose of:

  • Making arts and cultural opportunities both accessible and integrated into our community's everyday life.
  • Promoting individual and whole community involvement and inclusion in arts and cultural development in the Great Lakes.
  • Providing networking opportunities for individuals and organisations involved in the development of arts and culture in the Great Lakes.

The GLAN Committee is made up of representatives from a broad range of cultural organisations and practitioners including visual and performing artists, writers, theatre groups, musicians, teachers, cultural venues, art and craft works and community groups.

 

GLAN meetings are held quarterly on the first Tuesday of the month,
2.30 -4.30pm at Great Lakes Council and are open for anyone to come and represent their work, raise issues, seek support and make connections - So come along and make yourself known!
