Great Lakes Band is a volunteer, non-auditioning, community band which gives people of all ages and musicians of all levels of experience the opportunity to develop their musical skills, whilst sharing in a creative and enjoyable musical endeavour and providing musical support for community events.

Comprised of people of varying ages and musical backgrounds, our performance schedule averages approximately one per month at various community and official celebrations, fetes, fundraising events, concerts, etc.

A Developmental Band has now been formed to give confidence and experience to musicians who wish to start playing with a group.  Instruments are available for hire and even if you are a raw beginner, tuition is available and you will be warmly welcomed.

Operating under the auspices of  Great Lakes Council, the Great Lakes Band has become an integral part of the cultural fabric of our region and looks forward to continued growth and contributions to our community.   Come along and have fun with other people who share a similar love of playing and performing music - we're always looking for new members.
