Recognising creative people in the Great Lakes region!

Great Lakes 2011  Cultural  Awards recognised and honoured individuals and organisations for artistic  excellence, innovation, achievement and / or support of the arts in our region.

There were 3 categories;

• Visual Arts - Organisation, Individual and Youth
• Performing Arts - Organisation, Individual and Youth
• Enlightened Support - Organisation, Individual or Group that has made a significant  contribution to any creative discipline, either by endowment or by  creative practice.

Great Lakes Cultural Awards Presentation Night  was a "Great Night Out!"

The Great Lakes cultural community Dressed Up!  Dressed Arty!  and Dressed Creative!  coming together at the 2011

Great Lakes Cultural Awards, held at Tuncurry Bowling Club on Saturday September 3. 

An evening not to be missed, the 'Great Night Out'  featured  live entertainment,  high quality art exhibition, combined with creative group table decorating and high fashion on the night awards!
