South Forster Structure Plan

Council has prepared a Structure Plan for South Forster. The Structure Plan generally covers the vacant land on both sides of The Lakes Way south from the existing built area of South Forster through to Booti Booti National Park.

The Structure Plan provides guidelines and principles for the growth and conservation of the South Forster area. The Structure Plan for South Forster will guide the location of services and facilities (such as shopping, open space, drainage and community facilities), wildlife corridors, roads, residential densities and pedestrian and cyclist routes.

The South Forster Structure Plan was available for the community to review and make comment for six weeks from 10 May 2006 to 23 June 2006 and was adopted by Council in February 2007. It will be applied by Council when it prepares rezoning plans for land within the South Forster study area.  Due to the large size of the Plan it is not available to download in its entirety. However, a copy of the Executive Summary is available.  If you require a full copy of the South Forster Structure Plan, please contact Council.
