A Stormwater Management Strategy has been prepared for certain land in the vicinity of Chapman's Road, Tuncurry in connection with the rezoning of 18ha for future residential development. The site includes Lot 1 DP 304132, Lot 11 and a portion of Lot 12 DP 615229 on the southern side of Chapman's Road.
The strategy represents a review and revision of the previous 2002 report that incorporates changes in best practice, available assessment tools and Councils stormwater management requirements for water quality, wetland health and habitat protection from the 'post-development' impacts of stormwater.
The document was adopted by Council on 27 April 2010 in connection with draft Great Lakes Local Environmental Plan 1996 (Amendment No. 76).
