Which beaches are patrolled during the summer season?

The following beaches are patrolled at certain times during the summer season:

Forster Main Beach - Forster Surf Life Saving Club
One Mile Beach, Forster
- Cape Hawke Surf Life Saving Club
Elizabeth Beach, Pacific Palms
- Pacific Palms Surf Life Saving Club
Hawks Nest Beach, Hawks Nest
- Hawks Nest Main Beach Surf Life Saving Club

During school holidays Council contracts professional lifeguards on the above beaches from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. Volunteers patrol the above beaches on weekends and public holidays. For further information regarding any of these patrols please contact the local Surf Life Saving Club.

One Mile Beach

FORSTER MAIN BEACH
North Street, Forster
Ocean Baths Located at eastern end of Forster Main Beach. (BBQ Area and Amenities are available at this location)

PEBBLY BEACH – Head Street, Forster

ONE MILE BEACH – Underwood Road, Forster
Palm Grove Park located at Sth End of One Mile Beach

BURGESS BEACH – Burgess Road, Forster

TUNCURRY BEACH – Beach Street, Tuncurry
(Tuncurry Beach may also be referred to on maps as Nine Mile Beach.) Tuncurry Rockpool, an enclosed swimming area, is located at the southern end of Tuncurry Beach. Also located here is a kiosk, amenities, playground and BBQ area.
