Coolongolook Cemetery

Coolongolook Cemetery was officially created and dedicated on 24 October 1891. The Cemetery is 7.83 hectares of flat terrain with mature native trees bordering the area. Catering for burials with traditional style monuments, there are two denominational areas available:

  • Catholic
  • Church of England

Great Lakes Council only permits single depth burials in its cemeteries. Ashes are permitted to be interred into burial plots.

Monuments are arranged by the applicant and are not included in Council's services. Contact should be made with a Monumental Stonemason.
