Cemetery Records Publications

Researching family history and genealogy has become a very popular pastime in Australia.  Great Lakes Council's Forster Library, through the Family History Advisory Group, has a range of resources that can provide you with valuable information in your quest for family history.  These resources include:

  • One to one assistance;
  • Beginner Genealogy kits;
  • Births, Deaths & Marriages Indices
  • Free access to 'Ancestry on the Internet';
  • Reference books;
  • Cemetery records;
  • Convict records;
  • Microfiche and Microreader records.

Skilled and enthusiastic volunteers are also available to assist you in your family history investigations at the following times:

  • Tuesday and Thursday - 10.00am to 12 noon
  • Wednesday and Friday - 1.00pm to 3.00pm

This is a free service.

The Manning-Wallamba Family History Society has also produced a number of cemetery records publications that are available for purchase and/or use at Council's libraries.
