Columbarium
Tuncurry Columbarium is for the placement of ashes into a wall setting.
Ashes are interred into the niche receptacle and a memorial plaque is placed securely over the niche. Plaques are available in a range of materials and are included in the purchase price.
Memorial plaques can also be placed, in instances where the ashes have been interred or scattered elsewhere.

General (Monumental)
Tuncurry Monumental Section caters for burials with traditional style monuments. Only single depth burials are now permitted in Great Lakes Council cemeteries. Ashes are permitted to be interred into burial plots.
There are several denominational areas available. These areas are:
- Catholic
- Church of England
- Eastern Extension
Monuments are arranged by the applicant and are not included in Council's services. Contact should be made with a Monumental Stonemason.

Lawn
The Tuncurry Lawn Cemetery section caters for burials, with a choice of a range of plaques that can be ordered in bronze or granite, rather than the larger traditional style monuments that are often used in the General Cemetery.
Only single depth burials are now permitted in Great Lakes Council cemeteries, although ashes are permitted to be interred into lawn burial sites.
Memorial plaques are included in the purchase price for burial and are available in either bronze or granite.

| Memorial Ashes Gardens
Various Memorial Ashes Garden areas have been thoughtfully established throughout Tuncurry cemetery for the placement of ashes. These gardens are all nestled within a serene bushland environment and are designed with an emphasis on bird attracting native plants and flowers. Each garden bed has its own unique 'floral' name eg 'Boronia', 'Grevillea' etc. Ashes are interred into the allotment and a memorial plaque is securely placed above the ashes at ground level. Plaques are available in granite or bronze for the native gardens. All plaques are included in the purchase price.

The 'Garden of Eternal Peace' garden is a large semi-formal garden area that is easily accessible from the cemetery car parks. This garden is for those wanting a more formal garden option for the placement of their loved ones ashes. The garden has a border of cream pebbles, where the ashes and memorial plaques are interred.

'Peaceful Playground' Babies Memorial
A superb bronze Teddy Bear is the featue of the 'Peaceful Playground Babies Memorial' garden space. A sanctuary where parents, friends and relatives can commemorate unborn babies, as well as infants who may have lived only briefly. The Teddy Bear represents the love and happiness within our children, allowing their memories to remain with us always.

| Granite Columbariums
The 3 polished Granite Columbarium Memorial Walls are for the placement of ashes. They contain individual niches, feature columns, Family Rememberance columns and Memorial Only spaces. The columbarium niche includes a memorial plaque with a small fixed vase, which is securely fitted over the front of the niche. Plaques are available in bronze and are included in the purchase price. Memorial plaques can also be placed in instances where the ashes have been interred or scattered elsewhere.
