Bulk Waste Kerbside Collections

This service is available to all residential premises currently receiving a waste and recycling collection service. 

Waste placed out for collection shall not exceed 2 cubic metres or more than one standard 6' x 4' box trailer. 

Items must be able to be handled safetly by two persons. 

All items must be secured and placed neatly next to the edge of the kerb and not blocking the footpath.

 

All items to be placed in two (2) separate piles as follows:

Pile 1 - Scrap Metal Items Pile 2 - General Items
Fridges (doors removed) Small electrical appliances, vcr's & dvd players
Stoves (doors removed)  Wardrobes
Dryers and washing machines (doors removed)

Tables and lounges

Metal barbeque plates and frames Computer monitors / printers
Lawn mowers Vacuum cleaners
Garden tools Empty pot plant containers, garden hoses
Push bikes (no tyres) and exercise equipment Timber barbeque frames
Microwave ovens Plastic outdoor furniture
Hot water systems (less than 260L only) General bric-a-brac
Unacceptable items include the following:
Green waste and household waste Tyres and batteries
Spray paint cans and chemicals Bricks and soil
Commercial waste Fence post and wire
Gas bottles Builders / renovation waste
Kitchen sinks, cupboards, etc. Heavy motor parts
