INFANTS’ MEMORIALThis beautiful Memorial has been created to provide a sanctuary where parents and friends can commemorate unborn babies, as well as infants who may have lived only briefly. This Memorial Garden enables you, your friends and relatives to honour those infants and children who may have been buried locally or outside the Great Lakes area. A superb bronze Teddy Bear plaque is the predominant feature of this Memorial Garden. The Teddy Bear represents the love and happiness within our children allowing their memories to remain with us in perpetuity. LOCATION IN CEMETERYThe Memorial is located between the Lawn Cemetery and the gazebo in the Ashes Memorial Garden, in Tuncurry Cemetery. Easiest access is along the central drive-in, with parking available just beyond the first section of the Lawn Cemetery. MEMORIAL LEAVESLocated on a plaque in the Infants’ Memorial, the bronze Memorial Leaves are well suited to a short remembrance line. There is a maximum of four (4) lines per leaf. The cost of purchase and installation of leaves is $192.50, Including GST. Generally lines 1 and 4 contain a maximum of 22 characters/spaces and are curved, while the middle lines may each hold 13 to 16 characters/spaces. The name is usually highlighted in the middle line/s. The ordering, delivery and installation of leaves will take approximately 4-6 weeks.
